Hello everyone! We are John McKinnon and Aubre McKinnon. We started working with mobile homes in 2016 and fell in love with the industry. We founded Mobile Home Exchange LLC, a family-owned business in 2020 to help provide attainable housing solutions to our community. Mobile Home Exchange LLC is based in Roebuck, South Carolina, which allows clients easy access from Greenville, Spartanburg, and surrounding areas. We are an independent dealer that gives you the option to compare different manufacturers online or in person. We offer new and used options as well as allowed warranty services provided by the manufacturer. We’d love to meet you!

Meet Our Team
John McKinnon has an elaborate background in purchasing, sales, real estate, mobile home park owning, and development. John has a dedicated passion for creating attainable housing projects in a stable location that adds value to the community. At 21years old, he got his start by buying his first house, which he rehabilitated and revitalized. He then started other entrepreneurial projects, such as a payphone company and a surveillance company. After that, he decided to explore more entrepreneurial opportunities. John also has a wife, Aubre, and two kids with whom he enjoys spending time with and going camping and other adventures.
Aubre McKinnon moved to Spartanburg in 1991 to attend Converse College to pursue accounting. Aubre soon graduated with a Bachelor’s in accounting in 1995. Her public accounting background then expanded after college when she began working with various local Spartanburg Certified Public Accounting firms. Aubre later started her own accounting services and bookkeeping company in 2002, all the way until 2016, when she began working with John McKinnon. Aubre then took over all of his accounting services. Aubre and John McKinnon have two kids and one labradoodle named Bella. Aubre says she loves Spartanburg for its sense of community and the small-town feel. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, camping, and taking adventures with John and their family. Her favorite thing is to see people achieve their goals of homeownership!
Born and raised in Spartanburg SC, Morgan McKinnon is the daughter of Aubre & John. She is currently attending Anderson University in pursuit of a degree in education and is thrilled to be able to work alongside her family as they seek to find families who will make these houses homes. Morgan loves being outdoors and around people and hopes to see you in the office soon!!
Parker McKinnon is the son of John & Aubre and a recent graduate of Dorman High School! Hoping to start next school year at Upstate, Parker loves music and can often be found fiddling around on his guitar. His favorite thing about Spartanburg is the still existing small town vibe even as the city grows. He looks forward to being able to help you in anyway he can!
